Marat is a passionate educator, who spends much of his time teaching piano, composition and music theory privately as well as in schools. He has prepared a great number of students for various exams where they have received distinctions and merits. Some of his students received music scholarships and went on to study music at a higher institutional level. He has been a long-standing music teacher at the Russian Education Centre ‘DAR’.

His approach is based on the traditional Russian teaching methodology, where special attention is paid to foster correct technique and develop an imaginative and vivid performance of any musical material, whilst being able to adjust to personal needs of a student. Great care is paid to music theory, aural skills, solfège, improvisation, musical analysis, sight-reading and other disciplines that make up an all-rounded musician.
